Comments:
Eosinophilic Cholecystitis: The eosinophilic infiltrate is present within gallbladder and usually extends into extrahepatic bile ducts. The clinical presentation is often with obstructive jaundice that creates concern for malignancy. This image is a higher magnification of the previous image. Eosinophils are scattered throughout lamina propria and muscularis propria. There is a focus of cholesterolosis on the upper left.
