Comments:
Gangrenous Cholecystitis: The gallbladder wall is thickened from edema, vascular congestion and inflammatory infiltrate. There is destruction of the mucosa and the muscularis, especially prominent near the center of the image. Serosa is congested and shows fibrinopurulent exudate.
