Ganglioneuroma : Cystic Change

Some ganglioneuromas show focal cystic changes. Small clusters of relatively mature ganglion cells are present in a loose microcystic background surrounded by intersecting bundles of Schwann cells. The ganglion cells lack satellite cells and Nissl bodies. Some of them are binucleated in this image.
