Gross Pathology - Cavernous Hemangiomas of Liver: This image shows a large cavernous hemangioma of liver that was discovered incidentally at autopsy. The patient died of acute myocardial infarction. Large tumors carry a small risk of massive hemorrhage from spontaneous rupture or following abdominal trauma.
