Image Description

The cells of clear cell cribriform hyperplasia (CCCH) are bland with regular round or oval nuclei, inconspicuous nucleoli, and no mitotic activity. In this image, the cytoplasm is lightly eosinophilic instead of being clear. Basal cell layer is present but appears to be discontinuous. Cribriform high-grade PIN and cribriform carcinoma can be distinguished from CCCH by their nuclear atypia.
