Comments:
The epithelial component of mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma of the kidney consists of tubules with slit-like and branching lumens lined by cuboidal epithelium. The intervening stroma contains spindle cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. The nuclei are uniform, round with punctate nucleoli. Mitotic activity is not increased.
