Comments:
This case was discovered incidentally in a 40 y/o male with history of ulcerative colitis. An abdominal CT scan showed a large solitary adrenal mass. Adrenalectomy specimen revealed a 7.5 cm yellow-brown mass with soft gelatinous areas and yellow fatty areas, completely surrounded by adrenal cortex. Histopathology confirmed the presence of normal trilineage hematopoiesis as shown in this image. A thin rim of adrenal tissue can be seen on the top.
