Comments:
The tumor is composed of fusiform or spindle cells that are arranged perpendicular to the axis of the trabeculae. The cytoplasm is homogenous, pink, and glassy in appearance. It often contains refractile pale yellow paranuclear cytoplasmic inclusions called cytoplasmic yellow body. Another peculiar feature of hyalinizing trabecular adenomas is strong membranous and peripheral cytoplasmic staining with Dako MIB-1 antibody.
