Comments:
Signet ring cells arranged in linear strands resembling the classical pattern of infiltrating lobular carcinoma. Occasional signet ring cells are not uncommon in classical in-situ and infiltrating lobular carcinoma. However, majority of the tumor cells should have signet ring morphology for a tumor to be labeled as signet ring carcinoma.
