Comments:
Introduction: Inclusion body fibromatosis (aka infantile digital fibromatosis) is a rare benign fibrous neoplasm (a type of fibromatosis) seen on the fingers or toes of infants. It is composed of bland myofibroblasts that show characteristic cytoplasmic inclusions. It is benign with no malignant potential but has a high tendency for local recurrences when resected. Conservative treatment is recommended as most lesions regress spontaneously.
