Comments:
Luteinized Adult Granulosa Cell Tumor (GCT) of the Ovary: Adult GCTs can show focal or extensive luteinization of granulosa or theca cells, especially in pregnant patients. The tumor cells have abundant eosinophilic or vacuolated cytoplasm and round to oval nuclei with prominent nucleoli. The nuclei often lack longitudinal grooves. However, more typical areas of adult GCT are generally present at the periphery of the tumor.

This is a higher magnification of the previous image showing nests of luteinized granulosa cells with pale staining cytoplasm and round nuclei lacking grooves. They are surrounded by more conventional areas of adult GCT.
