Same case as the previous image. The tumor displays cords of small meningothelial cells with epithelioid appearance in a myxoid background. The main differential diagnosis is with Chordoma. Chordoid meningioma in its pure form is rare; usually it is associated with conventional meningioma. This is a helpful clue to favor the diagnosis of chordoid meningioma over chordoma.
