Epithelioid Angiomyolipoma : HMB-45

Comments:
Angiomyolipomas express melanocytic markers such as HMB-45 (shown here) and Melan-A (MART-1). Ultrastructurally, this corresponds to the presence of premelanosome-like organelles. The expression of melanocytic markers is more frequently and strongly seen with epithelioid variant of AML.
