Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) - Microscopic Features: In addition to delicate strands of immature woven bone within the fibrous septa, ABCs often show foci of basophilic calcified material (so-called blue bone or reticulated chondroid-like material). This feature appears to be characteristic of ABC and may be useful in differentiation from its mimics.
