Solid Pseudopapillary Tumor : E-cadherin

Comments:
Loss of E-cadherin Expression in Solid Pseudopapillary Tumor (SPT) of Pancreas: There is complete loss or abnormal localization (nucleus instead of cell membrane) of E-cadherin expression in SPT. This is not related to mutations in E-cadherin gene, but rather to abnormal expression of partner genes such as β-catenin and p120.
