Botryoid rhabdomyosarcoma makes up about 6% of all rhabdomyosarcomas. The word botryoid is derived from a Greek word meaning bunch of grapes. The most common location is mucosa-lined hollow organs such as nasal cavity, nasopharynx, vagina and urinary bladder. The specimen shown here arose in the nasopharynx.
