Spindle Cell Carcinoma : MFH-like

This metaplastic carcinoma of the breast had a well-defined epithelial component consisting of invasive ductal adenocarcinoma. The stroma in between the tubules contained highly pleomorphic spindle cells with atypical mitotic figures. The mesenchymal component had the appearance of an undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (malignant fibrous histiocytoma).
