Meningothelial meningiomas are characterized by lobules of cells with ample cytoplasm and indistinct borders (syncytia). Monotonous, round to ovoid nuclei with fine chromatin can be appreciated. The sparse smaller and darker nuclei seen in the background are lymphocytes.
