Comments:
The nodular appearance at low magnification reflects the nodular clinical appearance poromas often have. Interconnecting bands epithelial cells growing down into the dermis are seen with multiple attachments to the epidermis. The interconnecting bands lack the infiltrative pattern seen in porocarcinomas.
