LCH of Spleen

Comments:
Spleen is involved in about 13% of multifocal multisystem Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Rare cases of isolated splenic LCH have been reported. Spleen is considered a high-risk site. There is nodular involvement of the red pulp (as seen in this low magnification view) which may spill over secondarily into the white pulp.
