Comments:
The image shows polymorphous infiltrate of lymphomatoid granulomatosis involving the lungs. The predominant cell population is reactive T-cells, which are admixed with scattered large atypical lymphoid cells, histiocytes, and a few plasma cells. There are no neutrophils, eosinophils, multinucleated giant cells or granulomas. Based on the grading criteria (see previous slide), this case was diagnosed as Grade 2 (5-20 EBV-positive cells/HPF).
