Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma : Immunophenotyping by flow cytometry. The image shows forward scatter (FS) vs side scatter (SS) plot. FS is proportional to the cell volume and SS is a measure of cell complexity (caused by cytoplasmic and nuclear components). High FS and SS identified a population of large cells (colored orange) in this plot. The normal lymphocytes are colored blue. The large cells were CD45+ and expressed CD19, CD20 and surface kappa light chains (see next two images).
