PCDLBCL, LT : Differential Diagnosis

Comments:
The main entities in the differential diagnosis of primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg type (PCDLBCL, LT) include:

• primary cutaneous follicle center lymphoma (PCFCL), diffuse type
• systemic diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) with secondary skin involvement
• other types of large B-cell lymphomas involving skin

The distinction between PCDLBCL, LT and PCFCL is discussed in the table (modified from Jaffe et al, Hematopathology, 2nd Edition, 2017). The differentiation between PCDLBCL, LT and systemic DLBCL with secondary skin involvement can be accomplished with staging.
