Comments:
Low power scan showing enlarged white pulp follicles in a spleen involved with follicular lymphoma. The follicles are composed of a monomorphic population of centrocytes and centroblasts similar to those seen in the lymph nodes. In some cases, the marginal zone is preserved and may mimic splenic marginal zone lymphoma. The red pulp is usually spared.
