MALT Lymphoma - Morphology: This case of MALT lymphoma is from a thyroid gland with Hashimoto thyroiditis. Broad sheets of pale-staining neoplastic lymphocytes surround the reactive follicles outside the preserved mantle zones. The native thyroid architecture is totally effaced. Scattered residual thyroid follicles are seen (especially on the upper left, lower right and a few near the center).
