This case of alcoholic cirrhosis shows residual features of steatohepatitis: macrovesicular steatosis, hepatocellular damage (Mallory-Denk bodies), inflammation, and pericellular fibrosis. The inflammatory infiltrate comprises neutrophils and lymphocytes (CD4+ or CD8+ T-cells).
