IPMN : Intestinal type

Comments:
Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs), intestinal-type, are the second most common subtype and account for about 20% of cases. They usually involve the main pancreatic duct and are characterized by villiform papillae, similar to those seen in tubulovillous adenomas of the colon. They are usually high-grade lesions.
