Comments:
Parietal cells have copious pink cytoplasm and a central nucleus, giving them a "fried egg" appearance. In contrast, peptic cells have granular purple cytoplasm and basal nuclei. Neuroendocrine cells are difficult to observe on routine H&E sections, and stem cells are even harder to see.
