Comments:
This 50 y/o female patient was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia. Ultrasound examination performed before hysterectomy revealed a 6 cm paratubal cyst. The image shows a smooth, thin-walled cyst filled with clear fluid. It was lined by cuboidal and ciliated columnar epithelium. These cysts arise from the mesonephric remnants and are usually discovered incidentally. Case contributed by: Dr. Sanjay D. Deshmukh, Professor of Pathology, Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune, India.
