Low power view of an intra-abdominal desmoplastic small round cell tumor showing anastomosing islands of undifferentiated tumor cells separated by abundant desmoplastic stroma. Some cases show little or no stroma and may contain tubular or glandular formations, signet ring cells, or highly pleomorphic cells.
