Sarcomatoid mesotheliomas are composed of spindle cells but may also contain lymphohistiocytoid cells. Heterologous differentiation may be seen in malignant mesotheliomas, usually in sarcomatoid type but rarely with epithelioid and biphasic types as well. It usually takes the form of osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, or rhabdomyosarcoma.
