Comments:
The image shows round to oval, plump spindle cells clustering around delicate vessels. Local excision is usually adequate treatment. Recurrences are uncommon. Rare cases of sarcomatous transformation have been reported. Some angiomyofibroblastomas have foci indistinguishable from aggressive angiomyxoma and the two entities may be related.
