Colorectal adenocarcinoma is the primary tumor in almost one-third of cases of metastases to the ovaries. The history of colorectal cancer is known prior to the removal of ovarian mass in majority of the patients; however, in as many as 30% of cases, the primary intestinal tumor may be small or even occult.
