Comments:
Treatment of Thecoma: Thecoma is benign and is cured by unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. Due to their frequent association with estrogen production, endometrial sampling should be done to rule out any endometrial proliferative lesions. Patients with endometrial hyperplasia or carcinoma undergo hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

About this image: This thecoma shows increased cellularity and nuclear palisading (mimicking schwannomas) that is sometimes seen in the tumors in fibroma-thecoma group.
