Comments:
Hyaline Globules in Yolk Sac Tumor: Intracytoplasmic and extracellular eosinophilic hyaline globules are commonly present. They are PAS+ and diastase-resistant and contain a variety of proteins, including AFP, alpha-1-antitrypsin, transferrin, albumin and basement membrane components (laminin and type IV collagen). This image shows hyaline globules in a myxomatous background.
