Comments:
Clear cell carcinoma of the ovary showing areas with papillary architecture. The papillary fronds project from the walls of cystically dilated glandular spaces. They are variably-sized, have a complex architecture and sometimes have completely hyalinized cores (as seen here). Eosinophilic basement membrane material deposits are also present in the stroma. The cells lining the papillae have moderate amount of clear cytoplasm, well-defined cytoplasmic borders, and enlarged hyperchromatic nuclei.
