Granulomatous Cystitis : Post-BCG

Comments:
The treatment of high-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma-in-situ by intravesical BCG therapy is followed by intense granulomatous inflammation. The image shows small and large non-caseating granulomas in the lamina propria composed of epithelioid histiocytes and multinucleated giant cells. The granulomas are surrounded by lymphocytic infiltrate.
