Comments:
Biphasic synovial sarcoma: The epithelial component consists of nests and gland-like structures resembling adenocarcinoma. The glands are lined by cuboidal or columnar epithelium and contain eosinophilic secretions. The spindle cell component is present in the background and consists of uniform fibroblast-like spindle cells with plump nuclei resembling fibrosarcoma. The epithelial and sarcomatous areas may be admixed (as seen here) or sharply demarcated.
