Comments:
Many endothelial cells have prominent intracytoplasmic vacuoles. Note the absence of cytologic atypia. Following resection, the tumor may recur or form new lesions. Due to its appearance, it has previously been described as low-grade angiosarcoma and spindle cell hemangioendothelioma but is now considered to be benign. Courtesy of Ed Uthman, MD, Houston, Texas.
