Morphology: Elastofibroma forms a poorly-circumscribed, unencapsulated mass merging with the surrounding connective tissues. It is composed of hypocellular sheets of fibrocollagenous tissue containing numerous abnormal thickened elastic fibers, admixed with layers entrapped mature adipose tissue.
