Comments:
Prognosis: Spindle cell/pleomorphic lipomas are benign tumors with no risk of transformation (to liposarcoma) or metastases. Simple resection is sufficient. They usually don't recur, even if removed incompletely. This spindle cell lipoma shows admixture of sparsely cellular bland spindle cell areas and mature adipose tissue.
