Lepidic adenocarcinoma of lung showing proliferation of pneumocytes along the surface of alveolar septa. An invasive component is not seen in this field. It must be remembered that lepidic growth pattern can also be seen with tumors metastatic to lung as well as invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of lung.
