Comments:
Intravascular lymphoma (Angiotropic Lymphoma) is a term designated for a malignant lymphoma, usually large B-cell type, that shows predilection for blood vessels in brain, adrenals, and skin. Patients usually present with CNS manifestations altered mental status (as in this case), dementia or stroke. This results from clogging of vessels by malignant lymphoid cells resulting in multifocal cerebral infarction.
