Choriocarcinoma : Microscopic Features

Comments:
Large areas of coagulative necrosis and hemorrhage as well as cystic degeneration are common in choriocarcinomas. In extensively necrotic tumor, thorough sampling may be needed to demonstrate the diagnostic cell types.
