Chordoma : Morphology

Comments:
Classic appearance of a conventional chordoma showing clusters of cells with abundant eosinophilic or vacuolated cytoplasm in a background of myxoid matrix. The vacuoles range from single small vacuoles creating a signet ring cell appearance to multiple vacuoles imparting a soap bubble appearance (physaliphorous cells).
