Comments:
Immunohistochemical Profile of Mucinous Cystic Neoplasm (MCN) of Pancreas: The epithelial lining of MCNs is positive for CK7, CK8, CK18, CK19, EMA, CEA, SOX9, MUC6, and MUC5AC. SMAD4 is expressed by MCNs but not by the associated invasive component when present. MUC1 may be positive only in the invasive component. Expression of p53 is more common in cases with high-grade dysplasia. Chromogranin positivity may be seen in scattered endocrine cells at the base of the epithelial cells.

The ovarian-type stroma expresses ER (0-30%), PR (60-90%), SMA, MSA, desmin, inhibin (shown here), and calretinin.
