Hepatoblastoma - Fetal pattern

Fetal epithelial-type hepatoblastoma may comprise sheets of relatively uniform, polygonal cells with cytoplasmic clearing due to glycogen and lipid vacuoles. The apparently increased cellularity can be attributed to foci of extramedullary hematopoiesis, including scattered lymphoid, myeloid, and erythroid precursors.
