Heterotopic Pancreas

Here's another example of incidentally identified heterotopic pancreas in stomach, treated by wedge resection. The clinical impression was gastrointestinal stromal tumor or neuroendocrine tumor. Note the overlying smooth gastric mucosa. See cut surface in the next image.
