Heterotopic Pancreas

Heterotopic pancreatic tissue in stomach usually consists of pancreatic acini and ducts. Islet cells are present in only about one-third of cases. Malignancies have been reported to occur in these lesions. The image shows pancreatic acini on the left and gastric glands on the right.
