Comments:
The gland-like spaces (pseudocysts) in adenoid cystic carcinoma may be focally quite prominent. They are filled with copious eosinophilic hyaline material which represents duplicated basal lamina. The basaloid cells are squeezed into small nests and delicate lace-like patterns.
